Adare Manor Golf Club

The 18-hole parkland golf course at the Adare Manor Golf Club is set in the scenic village of Adare on the northern banks of the River Maigue just outside town, in Limerick County in the island Republic of Ireland. The Adare Manor Golf Club is not part of the Adare Manor Resort.

The Adare Manor Golf Club was established in 1900. It was originally opened as a 9 hole golf course. This historic Irish golfing facility was designed by Scottish golf professional and distinguished golf course architect, Ben Sayers.

Over the years, the Adare Manor Golf Course has matured to be one of the best Irish hidden gems. It boasts magnificent views with the Desmond Castle in the backdrop and houses the ruins of the Franciscan Abbey in the centre of the course. The nine holes were later upgraded in 1992 to the current 18 hole course layout we see today by Irish golf course architect Eddie Hackett.

Adare Manor Golf Club operates a strict dress code both on the course and in the clubhouse. On a far-reaching scale the golf course experiences mild weather conditions. Precipitation is steady and weather high temperatures on the course hardly ever fall to sub-zero.
