Els Club at Copperleaf Golf & Country Estate is situated in the greater Metropolitan Municipality of The City of Tshwane. Approximately 40 minutes off Sandton, 24 minutes from Lanseria International Airport and 15 minutes’ drive off Mnandi, Centurion, Pretoria, Gauteng. It was initially know as Gardener Ross and reopened on 2007 November 25 as The Els Club at Copperleaf.

The Els Club at Copperleaf Golf & Country Estate is home to South Africa's design Els Club and has been known as the longest golf course in South Africa, stretching 7,630m long. The Estate covers an area of 3 square km, and a number of the surrounding farms totalling 4 square km have also been purchased by the developers and will eventually be integrated into the golf Estate. Today The Els Club At Copperleaf Golf is designed to the highest possible USGA Stipulations with unparalleled views of the Magaliesberg Mountains and is arguably the best Signature Ernie Els designed golf course in South Africa.

The Els Club at Copperleaf Golf & Country Estate foundations lay on the very root lands of once Ernie Els' grandfather’s farm (Oupa Vermaak), Knoppieslaagte. Ernie Els himself is one of the most successful golfers in the history of the Golf, having won over 60 tournaments since turning pro in 1989. He holds two U.S. Opens, a British Open Championship and a record seven World Match play titles to his name. The international scope of Ernie’s victories is second to none. He is one of golf’s truly global players.

The Els Club at Copperleaf Golf & Country Estate hosted the opening tournament on the 2010 Vodacom Business Origins of Golf Tour - dubbed ‘Origins Goes Easy' in honour of Ernie Els.
Hosted the Sunshine Big Easy Tour Championship 2011.
Hosted the inaugural Tshwane Open a European Tour and Sunshine Tour co-sanctioned tournament for the first time in 2013 February 27.

Directions: 
Take the N14 west off the N1 towards Krugersdorp. Turn right at the first exit the R55 (Sandton/Pretoria West) and drive for approx 1km until you reach a set of traffic lights. Turn left into Tulip Road (R114). Follow the road for 6km, follow the billboards right into West Street then left into Ernie Els Boulevard.
